Stalk & Barrel Canadian Rye Whisky is made from locally grown 100% Ontario rye grain. It is mashed, fermented, and distilled by hand in small batches in the small copper pot still. Stalk & Barrel Canadian Rye Whisky is aged in ex-bourbon casks on site for a minimum of three years. Each barrel is bottled individually as a single cask offering in individually numbered bottles, offered at either cask strength or at 46% alc./vol. No additives nor coloring and no chill-filtering.

Nose: Grain! Wonderful grassiness and earthy with floral notes and spice.
Palate: Full mouth feel, with toffee, caramel and peppery spiciness and hints of ginger and cloves.
Finish: Hot pepper meets honey.
Distillery Information
Still Waters Distillery is a tale of two Barry’s — co-founders Barry Stein and Barry Bernstein who started Still Waters Distillery in 2009, which became Ontario’s first micro-distillery. To this day, the two Barry’s oversee every barrel of production. Their hard work paid off with a Distillery of the Year award in 2013. Their first product was the award-winning “Stalk & Barrel” Single malt Whisky.
