Sol Azul Silver Tequila was released in 2006. It is named for, and the hand crafted decanter feature, the blue sun needed to grow the 100% Weber Blue agave Sol Azul tequila is made from. Destiladora Arandas where Sol Azul is crafted was build by Fernando Pacheco. His son and daughter now run the distillery.
Sol Azul Silver Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: The aroma is agave, citrus, and vanilla with a floral backing.
Palate: The sweet agave and floral entry builds to a vanilla and citrus peak. The fade is smooth with very little heat.
Finish: It finishes semi dry with citrus flavor that leaves an oily feel, a gentle sting, and light bitter taste.
