Distillery Information
The Continental Distilling Corporation in Philadelphia, PA, which was formed once prohibition ended, introduced “Rittenhouse Square Rye” in 1934. It was named after Philadelphia’s “Rittenhouse Square,” whose namesake is owed to renaissance man David Rittenhouse.
