Smooth, silky and great sipping stuff. You could buy more expensive, save your money. This is the good stuff.

This is a enjoyable spirit, but there is nothing reminiscent of Mezcal. Closer to Awamori, soju, or something of the likeness.
Nose: unfiltered sweet sake, Koji sour.
Taste: Jasmine, floral, mineral, no smoke, slight cream cheese.
Mouthfeel: smooth, and viscous.

If you understand the history of Porfidio, this is just another chapter. I purchase this by the case and age it with various toasted woods I have soaked in everything from rum to red wine. This Mezcal is the perfect young canvas to draw on, absolutely smooth and ready to achieve complexities. Or just use it as a stellar mixer. Best Mezcal for the money out there today, who gives that it is from India, I don’t.

Tastes like a different tequila! I found a certain smokey richness like bbq beef or something, agave, and much different earth notes, presumably from the Indian soil. It is honestly a very good spirit and i will be keeping it around since it is great quality, interesting, and different.
