2003 vintage rum from Trinidad, bottled for the excellent Plantation Rum range. This was distilled in column stills and aged in white oak casks before being bottled at 42% ABV.

This complex golden rum is a 2003 vintage release under the Plantation label. It takes rum from Trinidad and ages it for eight years in bourbon casks before shipping it to France where it spends a further four years in Pierre Ferrand barrels at the Chateau de Bonbonnet.

Nose: The nose yields succulent citrus fruit that is joined by tropical fruits like mango and peach. Honey, nutmeg and light pepper are also present.
Palate: The palate continues the theme of citrus and tropical fruit along with toasted nuts and spice on the finish.
Finish: Intense, spicy, woody.
