English Harbour is a top-quality molasses-based rum distilled by the Antigua Distillery and named after a town on the island briefly inhabited by our own Horatio Nelson during the 18th century.
English Harbour Reserve 10 Year Rum Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose is thick and full with notes of molasses and Demerara.
Palate: The palate is spiced and rich with tropical fruits and buttery toffee apple, oily espresso with a little floral character.
Finish: The finish is oaked with cigar box and honey.
Distillery Information
The Antigua Distillery produces several rums, including an aged rum. Toward the latter part of the 20th century, the global trend for consumers was leaning more toward light and white spirits. In accordance, the company started to produce Cavalier Antigua Rum – a much lighter rum. The brand sells a range of rums, both light and aged.
