The Dictador 12 Year Old Rum, made from the fermentation of unique virgin sugar cane honey, then distilled in a modern stainless steel alembic. This Dictador is a solera aged Rum, meaning it’s drawn from the solera vat at the ripe age of 12. Younger Rums are aged in oak casks and then blended with older Rums. The marriage of old and new provides an end result that is one of the most exquisite Rums you’ll ever get to taste.

Nose: Baking spices, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla.
Palate: A hint of smokiness, citrus, oak, vanilla, toffee.
Finish: Dry fruit, oak tannins.

Destilería Colombiana, based in Colombia, has been distilling high quality Rum for more than a century. Only recently though, they’ve stepped away from blends and started developing their own private label – Dictador Rum.
