Bones Virgin Islands Rum is a tribute to pirate adventure on the high seas, blended from a selection of small batch rums aged a minimum of 4 years, sourced throughout the Virgin Islands. It’s aged in a combination of cherry wood, French oak and American oak barrels and bottled in St. Thomas.
Bones Virgin Islands Aged Dark Rum Tasting Notes
Nose: This medium-bodied rum is all about the butterscotch and toffee on the nose.
Palate: On the palate, these flavors are repeated, with the addition of roasted coffee, bananas, cashews and nutmeg.
Finish: Some oakiness mixed with a puff of smoke is detectable toward the finish to balance out some of the sweetness.
