Nose: Honeyed malt, toasted oak, warm spice, dried orchard fruit and a subtle floral lift.
Palate: Layers of dried fruit (figs, apricot), vanilla cream, roasted nuts, dark chocolate undertones and a soft wine-cask influence of stewed fruit from the Marsala finish.
Finish: Long and elegant, with lingering sweet spice, oak and a gentle wine-sweet dryness.

Teeling Whiskey Company is part of the Irish whiskey renaissance and builds on a family legacy of whiskey making in Dublin. With the Phoenix Legends Series, Teeling has partnered with Notre Dame to create ultra-premium limited bottlings that blend Irish heritage with American collegiate tradition. For this 16-year-old release they began with well-matured single malt stock, first aged in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished for approximately two years in Sicilian Marsala wine casks to impart rich, refined character. The result is a collectible whiskey that is as much about story and craftsmanship as it is about taste.
