Muerto tequilas (“death” tequila, inspired by the Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Day) is made to celebrate life and death, symbolized by the stylized skull on the bottle. Muerto Tequila combines the best of the traditional methods and technological advances when it comes to their tequila production. Traditional slow-baking brick ovens and autoclaves are used to cook the blue agave hearts, as well as traditional mills to extract the juices from the finest blue agave. All water is processed through an ultra-modern system of reverse osmosis, de-ionization, and ultra violet lights. This unique process results in an extremely smooth, clean and refined tequila.

Nose: The smooth aroma of wood blends in between the delightful scent of cooked agave.
Palate: Soft and warm agave on the palate, with overtones of vanilla and cinnamon.
Finish: A slight spice finish.
