At its core is a generous amount of old pot still with some very old grain, but what sets it apart is probably the portion matured in a sweet, raisiny port pipe.
Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Aroma of fruit, ripe berries and banana nut bread.
Palate: Flavors of toasted wood, port, rich fudge and tangerines.
Finish: Slightly sweet, has hints of vanilla, cake icing, maple syrup and nutmeg.
