This Island Signature rum from the Dominican Republic was named after Anacaona, a Taíno cacique. She was the chief of the Xaragua as well as a religious expert and poet born in the 1400s. Anacaona’s name means ‘gold flower’ in Taínos, so it’s rather appropriate that this is a fragrant, floral rum.
