Hangar 1 Kaffir Lime Vodka is made of an unusual and knobbly Indonesian lime. The Thais use this citrus – along with its leaf – because of its high aromatic oil content and intense flavor. The infusion of the limes together with the leaves, create rich notes of wood, white pepper, and cucumber. The resulting spirit is like nothing else – unmistakably lime, and endlessly complex.

Nose: Wonderful smell at first intense aromatic oils, smells exactly like a Kaffir Lime, not a chemists equivalent thereof.
Palate: Rich notes of wood, white pepper, and cucumber.
Finish: Endlessly Complex finish.
Distillery Information
Hangar One is named after the distillery’s rented space at the old Alameda Naval Air Station in California. The huge hangar sits on the edge of a disused runway (now a bird sanctuary) overlooking the Bay with panoramic views of the Bay Bridge and San Francisco.
