For this single-vintage Foursquare, pot- and column-still rums were blended and then aged in ex-bourbon casks for 12 years, creating a rich spirit with intense notes of oak, spice and dried fruits.
Foursquare 2005 Single Blend 12 year Rum Tasting Notes
Nose: Vanilla, milk chocolate and soft toffee provide a succulent opening which is joined by fizzing white pepper, with touches of ginger and nutmeg underneath.
Palate: Chocolate and vanilla emerge on the palate, with lemon peel and stone fruits in support. Lively oak and a touch of smoke linger below.
Finish: Pepper and ginger remain among a hint of lime zest.

Tucked away in the southern countryside of Barbados, on 8 acres of a former sugar plantation, is the magnificent Foursquare Rum Distillery and Heritage Park.
