The end result is an exceptionally fruity and fabulously complex rum expression which they then tame with pure water prior to being bottled.Dos Maderas P.X. 5+5 Year Old Rum Tasting NotesNose: Dark amber in color, each sip of this rum begins with a delicate and enticing nose of raisins, roasted peaches, ripe figs, cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon, and hints of vegetal notes.Palate: This is then immediately followed by a sweet and viscous palate of sticky dates, prunes, sherry, caramel, dark chocolate, honey, orange peels, coffee, leather, and tobacco.Finish: A long and velvety finish of sherry, caramel, licorice, and nuts.Distillery InformationFounded 1877 by Sir Alexander Williams and Arthur Humbert, Williams & Humbert has established itself as one Jerez’ premier brandy and sherry producers famed primarily for their take on Brandy de Jerez.
