The word Grianstad translates to ‘the stopping of the sun’, and this Irish single malt whiskey was made to be a testament to a time of year that is all about the dark of night drawing in, having been matured in bourbon and finished in Tawny Port casks.

Nose: Blackcurrant compote, cinnamon, dark chocolate, and coffee fudge.
Palate: Red berries, clove, gingerbread, caramel, and black pepper.
Finish: Spicy and sweet.
Distillery Information
Dingle Distillery was founded in 2012 by the three beer brewers Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley. After gaining a foothold in Ireland’s craft beer scene in the 1990s, the three decided to expand their range to spirits, including Whiskey and Gin.
