Interesting spiced rum from Colombian distillers, Dictador. They use an aged rum as a base, one that has been aged for 100 months (or 8.33333… years, if you prefer) in ex-bourbon casks before macerating it with fresh Coloumbian orange peel. This addition leads to a bright yet seductive flavour profile, well suited to enjoying neat or perhaps as a base for cocktails.

Nose: Aromas of freshly cut orange.
Palate: Flavors of ripe orange fruit.
Finish: Clean and balance finish.
