Copeland ’25.3’ Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a vibrant and expressive single malt aged in first-fill bourbon barrels and a single oloroso quarter cask. It was then finished in a California Pinot Noir cask previously used for Copeland’s Smugglers Reserve Rum.
Copeland 25.3 Single Malt Irish Whiskey | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Green apple, red berries, vanilla cream and soft oak.
Palate: Fruit forward with pear, caramel, baking spice and toasted sugar. Pinot Noir tannin adds lift.
Finish: Smooth and warming with cocoa, malt sweetness and light spice.

“Copeland Distillery’s story began with Gareth Irvine’s university project in 2015, fueled by a successful 2016 crowdfunding campaign (£30k) for gin infusions, eventually leading to a permanent distillery in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland, in 2019, rooted in local maritime history, creating innovative gins, rums, and maturing whiskeys, aiming to build a lasting legacy for his family and the region.”
