Campo Azul 1940 Reposado really surprised me. For the price, this drinks like a much more expensive tequila. It has a great balance of cooked agave, light oak, vanilla and a little caramel, but it never becomes overly sweet or loses the agave character. If you enjoy traditional, agave-forward tequila and tend to stay away from the overly sweet, heavily manipulated style of some mainstream brands, Campo Azul 1940 Reposado is absolutely worth trying
