As far as I’m concerned, this Mr. Hussong’s Tequila is a notch above Silver Patron. I have bought basically nothing but Silver Patron for about 5 years and have enjoyed it immensely. I bought my first bottle of Mr. Hussong’s Tequila about 3 weeks ago and will be buying that exclusively from here on out. There is a slight hint of vanilla in this Tequila which is lacking in the Patron, so the sipping with the Hussong’s Tequila seems superior.

Very smooth tequila. On the sweet side as appropriate for an anejo. I’d rate it 4.3 as I think the filtration to platinum reduces the character but I understand that’s the trade off for the increased smooth texture.
