Old Malt Cask Caol Ila 10 Year Old Description
Distilled in August 2020 at Caol Ila distillery, this single malt Scotch was laid down in a single cask to mature in a bourbon barrel for 10 years. Bottled in January 2021, this expression was produced by renowned independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. for the Old Malt Cask series. Just 126 bottles were filled, each one at Hunter Laing’s preferred bottling strength of 50% abv.

The nose has a subtle sweetness, with hints of seaweed and peat smoke that develop in the palate alongside dried fruits. The finish is long and lingering with a last wisp of smoke.
