Black Coral Rum is a classic and traditional expression of “silver rum.” It is aged for 6 months in charred barrels and then filtered (presumably through activated carbon) to remove color and soften the flavors to present clear in the bottle.
Black Coral White Rum Tasting Notes
Nose: The aroma delivers notes of vanilla and butterscotch.
Palate: Toffee and butterscotch notes, followed by a citrus-laden ethyl-alcohol pop.
Finish: A sweet mineral rich finish.

Black Coral Rum is a father-and-son-owned, US Veteran supporting distillery based in Riviera Beach, Florida.At the base of their flagship rum is sweet cane molasses, grown in-state. After distillation, a portion of the spirit is poured in new, charred white oak barrels, and the rest is aged in what the distillery simply describes as “other barrels.”
