Rum: Facundo Paraiso
Paraiso is the oldest expression in Barcardi’s Facundo range of premium sipping rums. Aged initially in white oak, the rums are married and rested in French oak casks before bottling. Rich but not sweet with notes of nutmeg, sultanas and stem ginger, this is one to sip neat and savour.

A blend of rums up to 23 years old, with a higher proportion of older rums than any others in the Facundo range. Finished in XO Cognac casks it comes in a decanter bottle engraved with the Bacardi family seal. More subtle than Eximo and Exquisito, which both flaunt their oak proudly, this is the pinnacle of the range and should certainly be enjoyed neat.

Nose: Complex and subtle with vanilla, biscotti, plum, nutmeg and honeycomb.
Palate: More of the same, subtle, nuanced, luxurious, pralines, caramels, sweet pea and oak.
Finish: Very long, consistent, top drawer.
