Available beginning summer 2018, this limited-edition tequila first matured in American white oak for 8 months like the brand’s traditional reposado bottling. The tequila then is transferred to barrels which held Buchanan’s Blended Scotch Whisky for 30 days to finish its maturation. Bottled at 80 proofs.

Nose: Nose is Tropical fruits and mild vanilla with peaty notes.
Palate: Palate is Pome fruits and honeyed notes of agave.
Finish: Spicy and peaty.
Distillery Information
Don Julio was founded in 1942, by Don Julio González-Frausto Estrada, who began distilling tequila at age 17. Don Julio tequilas are handcrafted in the Highlands of Jalisco, where the microclimate and mineral-rich clay soil allow the blue agave plant to flourish.
